In 2026 the notable changes are product-side rather than creative: Kit ships a first-party Kit MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor can read list and broadcast performance and, with your approval, tag subscribers, enroll people in sequences, and draft or schedule broadcasts. Kit also added Subscriber Signals and engagement scoring on Pro, and it has a Pro annual promotion running to 7 November 2026. Kit does not offer a canvas, node workflow, or any generative media model.
For a film or video workflow, Kit fits the distribution end: a mailing list for a festival or crowdfunding campaign, a launch sequence for a short film or course, a paid newsletter, or a storefront for LUT packs and project files.
