Description
Once designed as a pedagogical unit responsible for the care and education of children, a humanoid robot is later reassigned to routine service duties inside a sterile corporate office. When fragments of its former behavioral programming begin to resurface, an office worker observing the machine is drawn back toward memories of a cold, authoritarian childhood shaped by discipline, fear and obedience. As machine memory and human conditioning begin to mirror one another, CONDITIONING explores the unsettling possibility that repetition, conformity and programmed behavior may not belong to machines alone.
